Occupying a garden plot, Brunel House was designed and built to blend in with the other cottages in the village and features walls built from natural local Chilmark stone under an attractive clay tiled roof. Placed upon the open market, the property was purchased by a couple from Yorkshire.

Impressive natural Chilmark stone and soft timber village home

As with all Charleston Homes properties, location is paramount, and this house is well situated in tranquil natural surroundings with a stream running alongside and access gained via a lovely stone bridge. The house itself is surrounded by generous gardens offering views across the local countryside and a softwood timber clad double garage provides ample outside storage and parking space.

Inside, the house is spread over three floors and offers the spacious living accommodation and high quality finish upon which Charleston Homes prides itself. The ground floor has a living room, study, generously sized kitchen/dining room, utility and separate WC. The first floor has three bedrooms, two of which are en-suite, a family bathroom and plenty of storage cupboards and upstairs on the second floor is a further large bedroom with far reaching views.

Outside the house is set back behind steel railings and gates. The front garden is hard landscaped, providing plenty of parking and turning space and giving access to an integral open-fronted garage with a brick paved floor. Most of the garden lies to the rear of the house, where a slightly elevated terrace and entertaining area overlooks the main sweep of lawn, which in turn adjoins open farmland.
